Sri Lankan Citizen Lynched to death in Pakistan over alleged 'blasphemy'

The man was accused of tearing a poster of the previously banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) which had Quranic verses inscribed.

LAHORE: A mob in Pakistan lynched a Sri Lankan national and burned his body over alleged blasphemy in the Punjab Province. The mob was comprised of hardline fundamentalist supporters of the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP)

 Priyantha Kumara, who was in his 40's worked in a factory in Sialkot, he was seen by a couple of workers removing the poster of the party from the wall and throwing it in the garbage. The poster had Quran verses inscribed in it. The videos of the incident were circulated on social media.
