AMAI Media award for Express scribe

Prabhat Nair, principal correspondent, The New Indian Express, has been selected for the Ayurveda Medical Association of India (AMAI) Media-2016 award.

KANNUR: Prabhat Nair, principal correspondent, The New Indian Express, has been selected for the Ayurveda Medical Association of India (AMAI) Media-2016 award.

AMAI working chairman Dr P Mohanan said here on Thursday Prabhat Nair has been selected for the award for his valuable contribution in promoting ayurveda and making its benefits available to the public. Dr C Abu of Vadakara has been selected for the AMAI Bhishak Rathna award. Dr Sharmmad Khanwas will get  Dr N V K Warrier memorial ayurveda campaign award.  

Dr Eashwara Sarma of Kottakkal was selected for the AMAI Arya Oushadhi award. Dr Mathew Vempally was selected for the AMAI legend Bhishak Prathiba award for sports ayurveda. 

Mohan said, while Dr C Abu of Vadakara has been selected for Bishak Ratna award for his comprehensive contributions to low cost ayurveda treatment, Medical officer Dr Sharmmad Khan has been selected for N V K Warrier award for campaigning for  ayurveda treatment.  The awards will be presented during the 38th annual council meet of AMAI at Rubco Auditorium here on February 5.

Health Minister K K Shailaja will inaugurate the meet and Ports Minister Ramachandran Kadannapally will present the awards.
