Father’s doctorate makes Arun proud

The was Kuttram 23, actor is happy that his father and veteran actor Vijay Kumar, has been chosen for an honorary doctorate by MGR University. He wrote on Twitter, “57 years in cinema. More than 700 films. He has seen four generations. True recognition with a doctorate.” Vijay Kumar made his acting debut in Ponnukku Thanga Manasu (1973), and went on to act with several top actors. Arun Vijay worked with his father in Thadaiyara Thaakka (2012). On the work front Arun now has an untitled project with Magizh Thirumeni in his kitty.
