Post the positive response to the first single of the Vivegam album, Surviva, the makers have now released the second single, Thalai Viduthalai. The single, with metal undertones, was released on July 9, and has since received similarly positive reactions.

And now, a YouTube version has been released by Anirudh.

Thalai Viduthalai, which begins with a voice-over from Ajith, is a motivational track that talks about the hardship one has to endure in order to be successful. The song also has Ajith’s ‘Never Ever Give Up’ punchline from the film’s teaser.

Director Siva thanked the team in a tweet: “Thank you Anirudh and team. You guys rock. Super happy with the love we’re receiving for Thalai viduthalai.” It’s worth noting that this track also marks the director’s debut as a lyricist, and is sung by Anirudh and Harish Swaminathan. Other songs from the album are also expected to follow suit, with the film scheduled to hit the screens in August.
