The colour of love in its youthful best is most often grey. Layered with rainbow-like beauty and often ambitious with blind faith and hollow understanding, this period of misinterpretation of the very meaning of friendship and love has been perilous to many.
But director Kashi Vishwanath seems to have abandoned the gravity of the reality, relegating himself to narrate naive chemistry and merely play with youthful antics that come with college love. What he gains in the bargain is a story which again seems to claim that friendship between a boy and a girl is still a play; nothing serious about it.
The romantic themed film fails in its narrative while trying to get ample confusions created when girls and boys try to understand the naughtiness of friendship and the meaning of love. Although director Kashi has been assiduous in his approach, he misinterprets the concept of delicateness when it comes to handling relationships when young.
While the fresh cast of Sri Krishna Chaitanya and Nidhi Kushalappa try to do a good job, they fail to come up with a stand out performance because of the weak scripting. Even the support cast doesn’t make a big difference.
The film’s main highlight are a couple of songs composed by BJ Bharath, enhanced by good lyrics.
This film can be for those who love to stay confused in understanding the broad line between love and friendship.
