New additions to Dulquer's Telugu debut Mahanati

The movie stars Keerthy Suresh in the lead role Express Features The star cast of Dulquer Salman's Telugu debut Mahanati, titled Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil, is increasing day by day. The news is that Shalini Pandey of Arjun Reddy fame is playing an important role in the film that has Keerthy Suresh in the lead role. Keerthy plays yesteryear actor Savitri in the bilingual. There are also reports that veteran actor Mohan Babu has been roped in to play the role of the late actor SV Ranga Rao. The star has previously starred in Tamil films such as Guru, Vetrikku Oruvan and Annai Oru Aalayam. While Dulquer Salman stars as Gemini Ganesan, Shalini is touted to be playing the role of yesteryear actress Jamuna. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this Tamil-Telugu bilingual also stars Samantha, Vijay Devarkonda and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.
