Suraj Venjaramood to play  Water Subramanyan in debutant Sabah's movie

Writer Santhosh Echikkanam, who penned super hits like Aby and Chandrettan  Evideya, teams up with debutant director Sabah for a film on a serious theme in a humorous track. 

Suraj Venjaramood plays the lead role of Subramanyan, who runs a  medium-level hotel and a strong advocate of water conservation in a remote hamlet Paruthippulli.  

Though he repeatedly warns the people about perils of drought and advises  them on the need of of conserving water, no one heeds to it. However, all the wells in the village, except that of Subramanian’s dry up in the heavy summer. 

The film, yet to be titled, deals with the unexpected events that his family  family had to face in these times, in a jocular manner. 

Earlier, Santhosh had penned the debuts of directors such as Vinu Joseph (November Rain), Rajeev Ravi 
(Annayum Resoolum), SidharthBharathan (Nidra) and Srikant Murali(Aby).Junaid produces the film under the banner of Raindrops Films.
