Actor Bhavana gets engaged to Kannada producer Naveen 

The actor, who is awaiting the release of her next 'Honey Bee 2' and 'Adventures of Omanakuttan', has been in a relationship with Naveen for a long time.

KOCHI: Actor Bhavana got engaged to Kannada film producer Naveen at a ceremony attended by close friends and relatives on Thursday.

The actor, who is awaiting the release of her films Honey Bee 2 and Adventures of Omanakuttan, has been in relation with Naveen for a long time. Earlier, Bhavana’s mother had told Express the actors’s marriage with Naveen was fixed by her father before his death.  Bhavana is learnt to have first met Naveen on the sets of Kannada film Romeo in 2012. She is currently shooting for Adam Joan, which has Prithviraj opposite her.

Bhavana’s mother Pushpa Balachandran said the marriage would be held by the end of 2017 in Bengaluru.

“The engagement was a small function. Naveen, his father and close relatives came on Wednesday and returned after the function. She will soon leave for Bengaluru for a film shoot,” said Bhavana’s cousin Rajesh V Menon.

Manju Warrier and Samyuktha Varma were among those from the film world who attended the function.
The engagement ceremony was held at Patturaikkal between 8.30 and 9 am on Thursday.
