Premadalli goes to unusual locations, even a fish market

Hariprasad had set up shoot along the coastal belt of Mangaluru for the movie.

The shoot of Hariprasad Jayanna’s debut venture Premadalli, has been going smoothly so far. The makers are now on to the third schedule of shoot from March 20. The director, who recently shot a few sequences and a romantic song in Mangaluru, chose to explore some new places along the coastal belt.

City Express caught hold of a few pictures of the film that sees Vihan Gowda, Anusha Ranganath and Akshara Gowda participating in different sequences. The latter marks her debut with
Premadalli.

“A melody track with combo scenes of all three together were shot in this schedule,” says Hariprasad, adding, “While we shot in Padubidri beach, this is the first time a Kannada film is being shot at the Phalguni hanging bridge. We also shot at Mangaluru Dhakke, the famous fish market, which has not been explored before.The remaining portions of the film will be shot in Bengaluru,” he says.

Hariprasad, a protege of Yogaraj Bhat is an engineer, who took his passion to filmmaking. Having studied at New York Film Institute, he has been working with Bhatru for over five years before he turned into an independent feature film director with Premadalli.

The director not only chose to title his first film from the popular song Premadalli/Snehadalli, from Ranganayaki, but also roped in Ramakrishna, who was one of the actors in the film. The senior actor has an important role, which he has completed shoot for.

The film, made under Harsha Entertainment Pvt Ltd is produced by Sanjeev S Khasnis and co-produced by Srikanth S Khasnis. Chetan scores the music and the film has cinematography by Santhoh Rai Pathaje.
