A special screening of Lion arranged for Dhanush

Dev Patel starrer Lion is creating buzz worldwide.

Dev Patel starrer Lion is creating buzz worldwide for all good reasons.The film is set to release in India this Friday.  Now it is said that several special screenings of the film are being planned including one for south superstar Dhanush.

Coincidentally Dhanush himself is believed to be making his Hollywood debut with the Great Fakir this year.

 Earlier Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman won AACTA International Awards in Australia for best supporting actor and actress. Recently in BAFTA Lion was nominated in 10 categories where Dev Patel took away the trophy of Best Supporting Actor and Luke Davies won Best Adapted Screenplay.

Lion was also nominated in 4 categories in Golden Globe Awards and finally the icing on the cake for Lion was being nominated for the upcoming Oscars under 6 categories. Recently Lion had a special screening in Mumbai that saw Bollywood biggies in attendance along with the director Garth Davis who flew down to India for the premiere.
