Rally to promote vaccination

T'puram: Students of St Joseph school will participate in a cycle rally raising awareness on measles-rubella vaccination campaign, on Wednesday. Health Minister K K Shailaja will inaugurate the rally. Health standing committee chairperson K Sreekumar will distribute jerseys. Mayor V K Prasanth will release the campaign video prepared by National Health Mission and health director Dr K L Saritha will release the audio message used for mobile phone campaign. The vaccination campaign which starts from October 3 is given to children between the age group of 9 months and 15 years in the district. The disease leads to severe disabilities in children.
