NEW DELHI: Quashing claims that a Class 12 CBSE Accountancy question paper was leaked on WhatsApp Thursday, the examination body blamed “miscreants” for circulating message and vowed to take action against them.

“..Some miscreants have tried to play mischief by circulating messages through WhatsApp and other social media to disturb the sanctity of examinations,” Sharma added.

Earlier in the day, the alleged leak was confirmed by Delhi education minister Manish Sisodia on Twitter.

“(sic) Received complaints about the Class 12 CBSE Accountancy paper being leaked. Have asked officers of Directorate of Education to investigate and lodge a complaint with CBSE. Swift action must be taken, so that hard-working students don't suffer due to the negligence of CBSE,” Manish Sisodia tweeted.

A probe has been ordered into the matter by the minister and a complaint has been lodged with the CBSE.
