NEW DELHI: Justice Vibhu Bakhru of the Delhi High Court on July 6 recused himself from hearing a petition filed by Jet Airways promoter and founder Naresh Goyal seeking to quash the Look Out Circular (LOC) issued against him.

The case will be listed again on July 9 in front of another bench that will decide the fate of Naresh Goyal's plans of leaving the country. Look out Circulars are issued against the criminals to deny them any chance to flee the country to avoid prosecution under the Indian constitution and laws.

Goyal had moved High Court seeking direction to quash the LOC issued against him. He also sought the quashing of certain office memoranda issued against him.

On May 25, Goyal and his wife Anita Goyal were stopped from leaving the country by immigration authorities at Mumbai airport.
